Elevating his game throughout each postseason he participated in - as evidenced by his epic Conn Smythe Trophy win in 1995, Claude Lemieux would score an impressive 80 playoff goals throughout his career, with four Stanley Cup championships won. Worn while a current Stanley Cup champion, this Canadiens jersey was donned by Lemieux in 1986-87, a season that witnessed the Buckingham native score 53 points while logging a hefty 156 penalty minutes. A Maska Ultrafil label with handwritten “50” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the iconic CH team crest constructed entirely of layered tackle twill, “32” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Lemieux” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
A few stick marks are visible over the front, with additional wear including faint burns over each sleeve.
