Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Spending four seasons tending the net of the OHL’s Belleville Bulls from 2011 to 2015, Charlie Graham wore this custom painted mask that has been photo-matched to the 2013-14 season. A Bauer model with intact strapping, interior padding and back plate (the original red cage no longer remains), Bauer logos grace each side and forehead, with gorgeous gold and red bull motifs over each side by Gilders Design and stylized “31” over the chin section. “Rob” is handwritten to the interior, with Gilders logos on the back plate and upper reverse. Heavy game-use is exhibited, with numerous surface chips visible –especially along edges, with a cut over the forehead area that has a small surface section peeling away. Despite the prominent wear, the attractively designed mask displays brilliantly.
Getty Image #184220076 (Oct 11, 2013 vs London) has been matched to the pattern of chips along the top back edge of the mask, directly to the right of the inverted Gilders Design logo, with each an exact match regarding size and placement, while Getty Image #184220081 (Oct 11, 2013 vs London) has been matched to the pattern of chips along the top back edge of the mask, directly to the right of the inverted Gilders Design logo, with each an exact match regarding size and placement, with the additional chips just above "Bauer" near the left ear also visible.
