This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
The first Russian player to ever grace the WHL, Valeri Bure was selected 33rd overall by Montreal at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, with his NHL career to include seasons with his draft club, Calgary and Florida, with short stints in Dallas and St Louis. This Canadiens jersey was issued to the Olympic silver medalist circa 1997-98. Sporting a single size “54” fly tag along the collar, embroidered CCM and NHL crests are situated over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the red V-neck has been accented with white-over-blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Bure” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
