Originating from the closing days of The Great Depression, when the Maple Leafs moniker was a mere decade old, we offer a desirable collection of Toronto Maple Leafs programs totaling 7 and ranging from 1936-37 to 1939-40. Highlighted by an example from Game 3 of the 1939 Stanley Cup semifinals on April 1, 1939 – with the series won by Toronto on this particular evening, there are an additional 4 programs from 1938-39, along with single specimens for 1936-37 and 1939-40. The 1936-37 program hails from a Jan 23, 1937 contest (vs New York), the 1939-40 program from Dec 23, 1939 (vs Detroit), while the 1938-39 programs are for matches on Dec 3, 1938 (vs Montreal, signed by George Parsons), Feb 2, 1939 (vs Boston), March 4, 1939 (vs Chicago) and March 18, 1939 (vs New York, handwriting to the cover and first page). Each approx 7” x 9 ¾” program has an intact center line-up, with just light wear to the collection, with a few minor blemishes to a couple issues.
