Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Hall of Fame defenseman Earl Seibert pulled off a remarkable feat by winning Stanley Cups with both the New York Rangers (1933) and Chicago Black Hawks (1938), with both clubs later going through considerable droughts of success. He was also involved in the infamous body check that sent superstar Howie Morenz to the hospital, ending his Hall of Fame career. Seibert has signed and personalized this wonderful and well depicted original painting of himself by artist Carleton "Mac" McDiarmid, with the one-of-a-kind 8” x 10” artwork matted, and on 13" x 15 1/2" professional illustration board. Original paintings of earlier Hall of Fame members by prominent artists are infrequently found, with signed examples compounding the rarity.
