Beginning his career in Vancouver, Cam Neely is best remembered for his time in Beantown, with All-Star Game appearances in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1996. The BC native also earned a Bill Masterton Trophy, in 1994. A Memorial Cup champion in 1983 as a member of the Portland Winter Hawks and finally winning a Stanley Cup as Boston's President in 2011, offered here is this stick used by Neely during the 1994-95 season. A Canadien made C50 model in Boston's black, white and yellow colours, "Neely" is found stamped to the upper shaft. Retaining its original tape job of white over the handle/knob and black wrapped around the blade, the stick exhibits light game-wear via some marks and abrasions throughout the shaft as well as over the blade, heel and lower shaft as well as over the blade tape as well. Of note, a tacky/sticky coating is felt throughout the length of the backhand side of the shaft, likely from the stick being mounted or displayed. Having had the graphics on the forehand side of the shaft sanded off, the stick has been signed by fifteen (15) members of that years Bruins squad including Bourque, Neely, Naslund, Shaw, Oates, Smolinski, Lacroix, Lacher, Kasatonov, Sweeney, Reid, Leach, Rohloff, Hughes and Stümpel. All signed in black marker ink, all of the autographs remain legible and in good condition.
