Selected 2nd overall at the 1987 NHL Entry Draft behind Pierre Turgeon, Brendan Shanahan saw action in over 1,500 NHL contests and scored over 600 goals throughout his 21-season, HOF career. Shanahan is also a member of the Triple Gold club, winning numerous gold medals and international tournaments with Team Canada. From his second NHL club, we have a St Louis Blues jersey worn by Shanahan during his first 50-goal season in 1992-93 (Shanahan would only top the 50-goal plateau twice in his career, with each noteworthy season with the Blues). A Maska Airknit label with faint handwritten “54” is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM logos over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest with “St Louis” embroidered, “19” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in stylized numerals, with “Shanahan” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The NHL centennial crest is affixed to the right breast. The jersey also sports customized sleeves. Hammered with heavy game-use, the material is worn throughout with puck and stick marks, burns, stains and pilling, with a material-backed team repair to the back of the reverse “9”. A Custom Crafted logo is screened to the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany.
