Issued in 1992 on the 20th anniversary to honour the participants of the epic 1972 Canada-Russia series - still the greatest international tournament in history, we offer a collection of 55 Future Trends card signed by both Canadian and Russian players. First, there are six promo cards (3 different cards, with 2 of each) signed by Henderson (2), Tretiak (2) and P. Esposito (20), followed by cards signed by Russian players including Shadrin (2 different), Mikhailov (3, 2 different), Zimin (4, 3 different), Petrov (3, 2 different), Maltsev (2 different), Bodunov, Gusev (2), Blinov, Tsyganov, Tretiak (4 different), Vasiliev (2), Volchokov, Lebedev, Starshinov (2), Sidelnikov, Martyntuk, Shatlov, Lutchenko and Luzkin. The Team Canada signed cards include Henderson (4, 3 different), Phil Esposito (4 different), Tony Esposito (3 different), Guevremont (2 different) and Bergman. The lot also includes two homemade cards signed by Vasiliev. Most of the signature display beautifully with no issues, with light handling wear to the cards. We should also note that it is difficult to find Russian signatures in this quantity.
