Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Perfect for those looking for a comparative cheap trip back in time is this low grade yet still acceptable ensemble of 1961-62 Parkies, with the vast majority exhibiting a crease or creases, to go along with varying degrees of rounded corners and some coin-rubbed backs. Fair to Good examples dominate, with a few VGs present. We rate the key Dave Keon rookie card as an attractive low grade (F) entry, with a couple of small light creases and a subtle touch of paper loss on the front. Gordie Howe (G) has only a tiny corner crease, with 2-Mahovlich and 31-Sawchuk displaying similarly. Notable star cards with multiple creases and Poor are 1-Horton, 3-Bower, 43-Richard and 49-Plante, while one lone VG-EX contributor, 36-Moore, is the condition leader. Eight duplicates include 12-Duff, 16-Stanley (2), 18-Brewer, 23-Goegan (2), 36-Moore and 43-Richard, the latter with pen marks on the reverse.
