Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A prosperous time in Beantown hockey, the Bruins were able to advance twice to the Stanley Cup Finals in just three years between 2011 and 2013. This Boston Bruins jersey was worn by Tyler Seguin in Game 3 (June 6th) and Game 4 (June 8th) of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, and it’s been signed. CCM size tagging sits along the collar including handwritten “19”, there’s also an additional Reebok patch on the back neckline. Styled in multi-coloured tackle twill including numbers with a gorgeous spoked-B team crest, the black tie-neck also sports matching Bruin patches over each shoulder, with the important 2011 Stanley Cup Finals patch over the right breast. A tag from MeiGray Group on the inside hem is numbered H08799, with a matching LOA from the Bruins organization to accompany.
Game-wear consists of just a few random marks including over the top of the “9” on verso. Seguin has added a vertical signature across the “1” on verso, and it blends into the material somewhat.
