Originally drafted 4th overall by the New York Islanders at the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Roberto Luongo would spend most of his career as a member of the Florida Panthers in "The Sunshine State" where he played 572 of his 1044 career games. Hailing from a 2005-06 season in which he would lead the league in games played, shots against and saves, and register a stat line of 35-30-9 with a .914 save percentage, is this Panthers jersey worn by Bobby Lu. Made by Reebok, both "Goalie Style" and size "60" labels are affixed to the inner collar while the crests of Reebok and the NHL have been sewn over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front with a Panthers team crest that displays with embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders. Having had Luongo's number "1" stitched to the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Luongo" is spelt out in matching style letters that have been placed in a gentle arch over the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Worn at the beginning of the season between October 5th and December 10th plus pre-season play, the jersey shows good game-wear in the form of puck marks throughout the front and both sleeves with a couple of small marks on the reverse as well. Also showing a board burn over the left elbow and small red post paint transfer marks on the right elbow and reverse, a small number of loose threads as well as some fraying is present on the interior near the elbows. Displaying a Panthers team that has been sewn inside the reverse hem which denotes the jersey as a "Set #1 2005-2006" offering, MeiGray tagging numbered "C04247" has been added alongside it, with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "White Set 1" specimen. Accompanied by a matching MeiGray LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #56412581 and #56468004 (December 10th, 2005 vs Los Angeles) to various puck marks over both the front and right sleeve.
