Born in the UK but growing up in Newmarket, Norman Mann signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the mid-1930s and dressed for a total of 31 NHL games throughout his career, with additional time in a few different leagues including the AHL. This NHL Standard Player's Contract signed by HOFers Frank Calder (President), Conn Smythe and Frank Selke is drawn for the 1935-36 to 1937-38 NHL seasons, where Mann earned $1500.00 for the first season and $2000.00 for the second season should he see time in the minors, and $3000.00 for each season should he stay with the Leafs and no minor league time. Mann, Calder, Smythe and Selke have all signed in dark fountain pen ink, with all four signatures flawless. The contract itself shows just the usual fold lines with no damage or condition issues. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
