Crushing all competition with just 10 regular season loses, the Montreal Canadiens finished first overall at the conclusion of the 1972-73 NHL season, and defeated Buffalo, Philadelphia and Chicago to grasp Lord Stanley's coveted trophy for the 18th time in franchise history. This 10K gold and diamond salesman's sample ring was produced for the Habs’ status as 1973 Stanley Cup champions. Size 10 with approx weight of 27 grams, a large zirconia sits centered on the tableau encompassed by a ring of additional small zirconia with “NHL Champions” encircling the bezel in slanted letters. “1973” in raised numerals graces the top of the right shank, with an image of the Stanley Cup and “Le Club de Hockey Canadien” below, while the left shank features a raised Habs logo, with a an empty banner above, and the club’s season record below along with mention of their East Division title. The inner band is stamped "Jostens 10K", with the sample number of "B3771-3" engraved. Exhibiting just some minor scratches to the outer band and shanks, the ring displays beautifully. An LOA will accompany.
