Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
From his time with both the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians, we have an Albert Bell game-worn jersey along with a game-used bat. The jersey hails from 1999, with Russell labeling on the lower front along with a date swatch of “1999” and 2” extra length tag. Styled with “Orioles” across the chest in tri-colour tackle twill, the grey button-up has also been accented with double twill front and verso number, along with an alternate crest over the left sleeve and Cal Ripken Sr. memorial number on right. Nice wear is present on the garment, with some puckering to the reverse numbers from repeated washings, with some light pilling at the center of the team crest. An LOA will accompany the jersey.
The bat is a Cooper Pro 100 signature model just over 35” in length. The model number (C235) has been written on the knob along with “8”, with the weight of 32 ½” oz stamped-on. Tape remains along the handle, with nice use exhibited including ball marks along the barrel.
