Montrealer Ken Mosdell’s lone season with the “Brooklyn” Americans in 1941-42, his first in the NHL, produced this scarcity, the likes of which Bee Hive collectors have been looking to track down for decades! Picturing the future star at just 19, the photo itself here has a quarter-inch tear in the left edge, a third of the way down, while a small crease can be spotted in each of the bottom corners of the beige backing. Yet another tempting piece from our consignor’s marvellous collection.
