The late Gary Carter used this Louisville Slugger gamer during his All-Star 1983 season with the Montreal Expos and the HOF catcher has also signed his 1982 All-Star Game bag. Carter’s No. 8 is handwritten in big black marker on the bottom of the knob of his 1983 Expos LS 33-inch C243 game-used bat. This rare find from the prime of his career is uncracked and exhibits nice game use with ball marks and stitch marks and a light coating of pine tar. Carter, who was elected to the HOF in 2003 and died in 2012, signed in big bold black marker along with his #8 and the notation “Leading Vote-Getter” on one end of his personal zippered bag from the 1982 All-Star Game at Olympic Stadium.
