O Canada! Golden memories of Vancouver 2010 are conjured up by this awesome official Olympic relay torch from the True North Strong and Free’s most successful Winter Games. Canada won gold in both men’s and women’s hockey and an astounding 14 gold medals in all, a record for an Olympic Winter Games host. This original Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch, which is dated and hand-signed by a Bombardier quality control inspector, is the engineering marvel that carried the Olympic Flame on a 45,000-kilometre journey across Canada as 12,000 torchbearers shared its spirit with 1,037 communities from coast to coast to coast. “With Glowing Hearts” reads the inscription on the aluminum frame that houses the torch’s sophisticated technology within its fiberglass shell, which displays the colorful Vancouver 2010 Olympic logo.
The torch is in near pristine condition and exhibits no signs of having been lit. It comes with its original carrying sleeve and cardboard box, which has clear plastic tape applied all across it.
