Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Two-time Stanley Cup champion Ed Johnston has signed his mid-1960s Bruins game-used stick in blue marker between the Northland Pro and Woody Dumart and Co. stamps on the back of the shaft. Those stamps are on both sides, as is the Larson Industries stamp just below Eddie’s original tape job on the knob. “Johnston” is stamped on the shaft along with “14.” Yellow, white and black Bruins accent stripes remain on the paddle, which also has Johnston’s original tape as does the blade. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
Game use includes wear to the bottom edge of the blade, which has chips on the heel, black marks on the paddle, which has a small crack on the bottom edge.
