Fantastic collection of signed items from legendary Habs, beginning with the one and only Jean Beliveau who has inked his name on 6 pieces – a 16” x 20” b&w shot of Jean on the ice holding the Stanley Cup; a 10 ½” x 14” b&w Beliveau montage; an 8 ½” x 11” colored illustration of Jean; an 11” x 14” b&w of him wearing a fedora after notching a hat trick (all in blue ink); an 11” x 13 ¼” b&w illustration of Jean signed in red ink (with 3 pinholes); and a framed and matted b&w action photo of Jean and Bobby Baun (with Horton and Duff in the background), signed in slightly paled red ink by Beliveau and Baun. The frame on this item shows various nicks and scratches. Along with these we have an Yvan Cournoyer-signed 8” x 10” b&w, a Bob Gainey-signed colored b&w (both in blue marker), and an 8” x 12” colored photo of Ken Dryden in his famous pose, signed in blue marker (2 small pinholes at the top). Next, an 18 ½” x 26 ½” b&w Habs-Leafs action shot, signed in dark black marker by Guy Lapointe and lighter black by Frank Mahovlich (pinholes in 4 corners and faint dirt on the white border); and 1950s Habs legends Marcel Bonin, Henri Richard, Boom Boom Geoffrion, Phil Goyette, Dickie Moore, and Jean Beliveau have signed a great photo of the 6 leaving the bench, with this 11” x 15” b&w photo displayed in a white with blue and red trim matte measuring 18 ½” x 22 ½” (a few dings and some dirt on the matte). A great collection of signed Habs pics, joined by an unsigned 16” x 20” photo of Dryden, Savard, and Lapointe in action against Chicago, plus a collection of 3 ½” x 5” postcards from different years and which include Provost, Robinson, J.C. Tremblay, S. Savard, Gainey, Laperriere, Jarvis, LeClair, Harris, Lapointe, and Harper, plus Langway, which has several small pinholes in it.
