Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Three Habs HOFers have signed the jerseys that feature their names and numbers sewn on and tags still attached, beginning with a Jean Beliveau example, tagged in the collar as a CCM (size) “XL”, with his captain’s “C” on the left breast, “Beliveau” lettering sewn on a red nameplate (which has become unglued in parts but can easily be reglued), and the great man has signed his number “4” with blue marker that shows just a hint of bleeding. Next, an Yvon Cournoyer CCM size “L” captain’s jersey, signed by Yvon in clear blue marker on the “1” of his number “12”. (This nameplate is also partially unglued). And finally, a Guy Lafleur alternate captain’s jersey, also a CCM size “L”, which Guy has signed on the back number “1” of his number “10” in blue marker with a hint of bleeding. Great trio of jerseys from Beliveau (inducted 1972), Cournoyer (ind. 1982), and Lafleur (ind. 1988).
