Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Cool vintage CCM Custom Pro was wielded by Leafs d-man Mike Pelyk during the 1971-72 campaign, and not only does it retain Pelyk’s original black tape on the blade and white on the knob, but it’s also lined with 15 signatures written in nice and dark blue ink from that particular Leafs team. Those who have signed this old beauty include Pelyk, MacMillan, Dupere, Ellis, Harrison, Selwood, Sittler, Ullman, Henderson, Glennie, Baun, Marshall, McLellan, and Keon, with one we can’t distinguish, and just one (Marshall’s) that shows smudging. Nice team-signed gamer that has “Pelyk 4” stamped on the upper shaft and various game marks scattered about, with condition including a thin age crack in the blade, and the accent stripes are no longer attached. All in all, a tremendous Leafs showpiece.
