A classic dressing room image, Maurice Richard is expertly depicted by artist Daniel Parry on this limited-edition framed lithograph as he enjoys a somber moment alone in the Forum, with all pictured items masterfully portrayed including the Rocket’s Habs uniform, his CCM stick and the Spalding puck at his feet. At approx 22” x 28” (exposed) and entitled “For the Love of the Game”, Richard has added a flawless pencil signature centered along the base, with the artist signing over the bottom right. Produced in 1998 and hand numbered “924/999” over the bottom left, the litho has been triple-matted under green, white and black, the visually stunning piece is housed an intricate deep brown frame to full dimensions of 31 ¾” x 38 ½”. The frame shows light wear/dings around the edges and corners. The litho and signature display beautifully and remain in excellent condition. Featuring a COA affixed to the back of the frame, the piece hails from the personal collection of Brian Glennie and comes accompanied by a signed Glennie family LOA.
