Jacques Plante Auction March 2006

Better known for his time spent in Montreal and then Toronto, “Bunny” Larocque closed out his NHL career with brief stints in Philadelphia and St. Louis. Larocque’s Flyers mask features his nickname and two black and white Playboy bunnies. It is lined from the nose and eyes up with a thin layer of black foam padding. Mask does show some use with a few black puck marks and other light scratches/scrapes. The painted “Lefevre” mask was originally part of the Richard Curry collection. Larocque was diagnosed with brain cancer in May of 1992 and died shortly thereafter at just 40 years of age. *startred* Actual game photographs from Bunny Larocque's short stay in Philadelphia have show Bunny wearing a mask with a slightly different paint job then this mask. *endred*
