The Frank Mahovlich Auction - October 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/18/2005
Creamy white dureen in a rare one-year-style worn by enforcer Jim Watson while with the Quebec Nordiques in 1975-76. This Maska dureen is an all sewn-on variation with tackle twill numbers, crest and fleur-de-lys. Two tags are there in the collar, one by Maska Canada and washing instructions tag off to one side. The v-neck style jersey displays nice game wear inside and out with a great jumble of repair work at the neck where it was torn right down to the crest, in an altercation no doubt. The nameplate has been removed, but this is common with jerseys from this particular set. The sleeves on this one have been cut significantly shorter and loose stitching remains from a hasty hem job.
