Guy Lafleur scored 518 goals and 1,246 points in a Montreal Canadiens uniform, making him the all-time leading scorer in franchise history. In 1977-78 Guy posted 132 points, sniping 60 goals and adding 72 assists to win him the Art Ross and Hart trophies for his stellar performance. The Hart Trophy is presented to the most valuable player in the National Hockey League during the regular season. This is Guy's personal vintage plaque, presented to him at the annual NHL Awards ceremony in 1978. A silver miniature of the trophy rises from the center surrounded by the NHL shield and two sets of silver sticks and black enameled pucks. The silver plate below reads "Dr. David A. Hart Trophy - Winner 1977-78, Guy Lafleur, Montreal Canadiens". The plaque measures approximately 10" x 12" and is in perfect condition with a nice patina. Signed by Guy on the verso in bold black marker. From the personal collection of Guy Lafleur with his signed letter of authenticity.
