The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Like the way he played on the ice, "spectacular" is the best way to describe this motorcycle that Guy Lafleur treated himself to a few years ago. The 1999 Harley Davidson is a Heritage Softtail model and was bought new by Lafleur. The odometer now indicates 4595 kilometres which translates to 2853 miles. The sensational bike was modified with the original tank and fenders being replaced with wonderful painted affairs. Both sides of the tank feature different images of Lafleur in his Canadiens, Nordiques and Rangers uniforms. The front fender depicts Guy letting a shot go as a pee-wee hockey player while a Stanley Cup graces the back fender, along with the years that the Hall of Fame right winger helped the Canadiens to hockey's ultimate prize. An additional $15,000 worth of chrome was also added to this beauty. The original blueish grey tank and fenders will be included and the bike also comes with a visor. Lafleur in recent years has become more interested in flying helicopters than riding Harleys and has decided to offer this unique hog to the public. Guy has told us that he would be happy to meet the lucky high bidder and take part in a photo shoot when the exchange of ownership takes place in Montreal. The bike's serial number is 1HD1BJL40XY047543. Good luck bidding on this breathtaking piece and please call if more information is required.
