The Bobby Hull Auction - May 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/25/2004
Absolutely magnificent early WHA jersey was worn by New England Whalers center Tommy Earl during the team's second season. Striking dureen jersey is tagged in the neck in size 46 by the Gerry Cosby company. A big impressive embroidered and tackle twill harpoon style Whalers patch is sewn on the front while tackle twill numbers are also sewn on the back and sleeves. Small whale patches are on the shoulders and "EARL" in individual letters is sewn directly onto the back (no nameplate). Light game use with a few small stick marks on the front. There's a slash mark in the "2" on the right sleeve and a small hole just above the "27". Superb jersey has been preserved in outstanding condition and will be a truly awesome addition to a WHA jersey collection. A letter of authenticity will be included.
