Serving as an NHL official between 2000 and 2021, Steve Miller would work 1285 regular season games over the course of his career as well as 139 playoff games and three (3) Stanley Cup Finals. Having worked the lines at the 2006 Winter Olympics, the NHL All-Star Game, Memorial Cup, World Junior Hockey Championship, the Stanley Cup Finals in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and outdoor games including the 2014 Stadium Series and 2017 Centennial Classic, offered here is this linesman's jersey worn by Miller in the early-to-mid-2010s that has been signed by him and personalized to legendary Chicago Bears coach, Mike Ditka. Made by CCM, the black and white striped garment sports a size "54" tag affixed to the inner collar while a CCM crest has been added over the reverse neckline. Decorated over the reverse hem with a small NHL shield logo and over the left breast with a similar one of a larger scale that features embroidered details throughout. Featuring snaps over both sides of the collar as well as the reverse, Miller's number "89" has been added over the reverse in single layer white tackle twill numerals while sublimated patches displaying the same number have been affixed to both of the arms. Displaying some light spot stains over the lower front, Miller has signed the reverse number "8" with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue and has added an inscription reading "To Coach Ditka" in matching ink alongside it. A neat piece worn by one of the best officials of the 2000s that has a cool backstory, don't miss out on this one!
