Having been drafted 55th overall by the San Jose Sharks in 2012, Chris Tierny would play in three (3) consecutive Memorial Cup’s during his junior career with the London Knights, captaining the team his last season before turning pro. Having gone on to play for San Jose, Ottawa, Florida and currently Montreal, up for grabs here is St. Patrick’s Day themed Ottawa Senators jersey worn by Tierny during the pre-game warm-up on March 17th, 2021 against the Vancouver Canucks. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both “Made in Canada” and size “56” designations sits over the inner collar above and additional size “56” label that has been sewn in. Featuring both NHL shield and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a Senators team crest that features embroidered details as well as an additional Adidas logo over the right clavicle while a shamrock patch has been added over the left shoulder. Having been accented with Tierny’s number “71” over the reverse in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals with “O’Tierny” spelt out above in single layer white celtic designed twill letters, a vinyl shamrock patch displaying the date the jersey was worn has been added over the lower reverse. Worn in just the warm-up, the jersey shows no obvious signs of wear and remains in beautiful condition and Tierny has signed the “7” on the reverse with a black ink signature that displays well despite some light bleeding. Seen in Getty Image #1231791249 (March 17th, 2021 vs Vancouver) wearing the jersey being offered, a Senators COA will accompany the piece.
