Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023

A three-time Hart Trophy winner, Bobby Clarke captained the Philadelphia Flyers to pair of epic back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1974 and 1975. Registering three 100-point seasons during his HOF career Clarke concluded his time in the NHL with over 1,200 points and is remembered for his hard hitting offensive style that helped the “Broad Street Bullies” reach Lord Stanley’s promised land. One of the four key rookie cards that are featured as part of O-Pee-Chee’s 1970-71 hockey release, a young Clarke is pictured over the front (with all his teeth!) with this particular copy of the all-important first-year cardboard garnering a high-grade designation of NM-MT 8 from the graders at PSA. Just a tad off-center right-to-left, the card retains attributes that one would expect of a high-grade vintage example, with the sharp corners, smooth edges, vivid colours and clean surfaces all still found in nearly the same state that they were when it was first pulled from its wax wrapper 53 years ago. Housed in a PSA holder that displays just light imperfections worth noting, don’t allow your esteemed vintage collection to go without this prime offering.
