Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023

Spending parts of 16 seasons in Hockey City with Montreal, Andrei Markov has also represented his native Russia on many international occasions, including at the World Championship and Winter Olympics. We have a Canadiens alternate captain's jersey that was worn by the Voskresensk native during the 2014-15 NHL playoffs. A size “56” CCM label is affixed to the collar with handwritten “5P”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the famous CH team crest partially-embroidered, the "Home Set 5P" V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Markov” across the nameplate in single white twill. The jersey also sports the Jean Beliveau memorial patch over the right breast, along with velcro-customized sleeves. The team patch (A03786) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU04363” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “9”.
Game-wear includes just a few visible marks over the lower right sleeve and lower front striping band. We should also note that the jersey sports the Jean Beliveau memorial patch over the right breast, along with velcro-customized sleeves.
