Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Extremely popular throughout the mid-20th century, table top hockey games came in a variety of sizes and models. In this lot we have a Foster Hewitt hockey game that comes with its original box. Made by Reliable and dating from the early-to-mid-1950s, the game measures roughly 11” x 23” x 3 ½” with the box it comes housed in measuring approx. 13” x 27” x 5”. Featuring well details metal players, all are accounted for while one of them has broken off with the rod it was attached to underneath also having come loose. One of the referee pieces has come off as well. Remaining in good condition, scratches and marks are seen over the playing surface with some paint chipping to the yellow inner rim and scratches over the outside plastic as well. The box remains in good condition, with some small holes and pencil/crayon marks being seen. Of note, the stainless steel game balls are not included.
Please note, it cannot be guaranteed that the game included in the lot is complete and as such is being sold "AS IS" and is ineligible for return.
