Undrafted, Dustin Penner would forge out an NHL career that lasted 589 games and include Stanley Cup Championships in 2007 with Anaheim and 2012 with Los Angeles. Hailing from his second season in Alberta, we offer this Edmonton Oilers jersey worn by Penner during the 2008-09 season. Sporting size “58+” and Elite Sportswear labels affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with the Oilers familiar crest that has embroidered and textured details, the franchises 30th anniversary patch resides over the right shoulder. Penner’s number “27” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals with “Penner” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in matching style. Exhibiting light game-wear, board burns are seen over the right sleeve and near the left collar bone with snags/pulls throughout the sleeves and lower front as well. A small light stick mark is seen over the left side of the "E" in the Oilers crest. An Oilers team tag is sewn to the interior reverse hem with a MeiGray tag numbered “F10276” affixed alongside it. According to their population report, the jersey is a “Navy Set 2” specimen. An Oilers LOA will accompany the jersey.
