The final game from the series played on Canadian soil, before the four contests to be held at the Luzhniki Palace of Sports in Moscow, Game 4 of the famed Canada-Russia Series in 1972 took place at Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum on Sept 8th, with the score concluding 5-3 for the Soviets. Goals by Gilbert Perreault, Bill Goldsworthy and Dennis Hull were not enough for the red and white, with Boris Mikhailov scoring a pair for the Russians. We offer an original 1972 Canada-Russia Series ticket stub produced for Game 4 in Vancouver. At 1 ¾” x 4 ½”, the ticket stub lists the game, date, venue and seat, along with the $7.00 cover price, with advertising on the reverse from CCM. The ticket remains in excellent condition and is crease free while retaining good colours throughout. Sporting good edges and corners that show only light wear, the only flaw of note is a small mark in the middle of the ticket on the right edge.
