Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
An array of components is involved in this gathering of 1963-64 Topps cards, with the key Bobby Hull example encapsulated and graded EX-MT 6 by PSA and joined by a raw duplicate at EX. Vic Hadfield’s second-year card merited NM-MT 8 recognition at PSA, while a Hadfield double is creased and VG. There are also two Jacques Plante cards; one is nice and white/bright and NM+, with the other at VG-EX. The remainder include some two dozen crease-free examples that are EX-or-better (21-Bruins Team, 47-Harvey, 57-Gilbert), while approximately the same amount are an even mix of VG+ to VG-EX+ (corner wear/dings) and VG-or-lower (due to a crease or more). The former group includes 8-Westfall RC, 23-Hall (light crease), 43-Black Hawks Team and 46-Villemure RC, while in the latter/lesser stack are 1-Schmidt, 2-Johnston RC, 36-Mikita and 65-Rangers Team, with the 66-Checklist fully filled-in and multi-creased. A mix of colors and conditions will require some ciphering before click, clicking or tap, tapping, with no condition issues to report in regards to the two PSA holders.
