Defending the goal along with Jose Thedore, Marc Denis would play two games during the 1996 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, posting two wins and a .962 save percentage as Canada knocked off Sweden in the final to claim the gold for the nation. Hailing from that tournament, we offer this jersey worn by Denis. Made by Bauer, the company’s “ProWear” labeling and a size “56G” fly tag are affixed to the inner collar. Styled over the front with the Hockey Canada crest in tackle twill with embroidered details, additional Canada crests are sublimated into the material over each shoulder with an additional sublimated Bauer logo over the right collarbone. Denis’ number “31” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill with “Denis” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white twill letters. Sporting light game-use, a pair of puck marks are seen over the front with pilling/rubbing over the front hem and left sleeve. Additional small amounts of pills/rubbing is observed throughout the rest of the jersey as well. Additionally, Denis has signed the top of the reverse number “3” with a black ink signature that appears without issue.
