Drafted by Los Angeles before three strong junior seasons that included scoring 191 points in 1985-86 for Hull in the Q, Luc Robitaille spent the majority of his HOF career in Hollywood, spread over three different stints. We have a stick used by the 1987 Calder Memorial winner during his rookie era in the NHL in the mid-to-late-1980s, circa 1986-89. A KOHO model with “Robitaille” stamped and “20” handwritten, the original white tape is in place over the blade and black to the handle, with both striping accents intact. Nice game-use is shown on the vintage lumber with the blade tape now yellowing with a loose strand, with the underside completely worn. There is also light wear and marks to the shaft. Robitaille would score over 80 points in each of his first eight NHL seasons, including four that topped the 100-point plateau…remarkable!
