In a season that saw him finish with a batting average of .294 in 125 games played is this jersey worn by Gary Sheffield during the 1990 season as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers. Made by Rawlings, the garment displays the brand’s jock tag near the front hem with a size “46” designation as with a fly tag reading “Set 2 1990” beside it while a grey swatch reading “90 Sheffield” in blue Swiss embroidery is sewn on underneath. The front of the button up has been styled with the Brewer’s classic script “Milwaukee” in dual-layer tackle twill with Sheffield’s number “11” present underneath and on the reverse in the same style. The back also sees “Sheffield” arched across the top of the back, spelt out on an affixed matching nameplate. Accented with blue and yellow trim at the ends of each sleeve, the jersey shows light use with small brown coloured spots on the back near the hem as well as on the left sleeve and right-side neck. The jersey also exhibits multiple staple holes throughout, having likely been framed at some point. Additionally, the jersey has been signed by Gary underneath the front number with a black ink signature that displays without issue. A COA for the jersey will accompany.
