Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
One of the game’s all-time greatest scorers, Ron Francis saw action in over 1,700 contests throughout his 23 NHL seasons, and was second only to Wayne Gretzky for career assists upon his retirement in 2004. The 2007 HOF inductee also earned considerable hardware including the Frank J. Selke, Lady Byng and a pair of Stanley Cups. From his swan song season of 2003-04 with the Carolina Hurricanes/Toronto Maple Leafs is this Easton Synergy stick used by Francis. “10 Francis” factory graphics are found over the shaft with Francis’ original white tape job found over the handle/knob that has a handwritten “10” on it while the blade has had its tape removed to facilitate the gorgeous bold silver ink signature and personalization that Francis has added with the signature displaying without issue. The stick shows light game-use with marks to the blade as well as the lower shaft.
