Undrafted, Glenn Healy would earn his first NHL opportunity from the Los Angeles Kings in 1985-86 and went on to enjoy a National Hockey League career that lasted 437 games over 15 seasons and included a Stanley Cup in 1994 as a member of the New York Rangers. Offered here, is the worn by Healy in home games at Madison Square Garden during the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals. A CCM made heavy mesh garment, Gerry Cosby and CCM labeling with "GC" handwritten for goalie cut, is affixed to the collar, along with a size “54” fly tag. Featuring embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem, the front has been decorated with “Rangers” going diagonally down the chest in individual drop-shadow tackle twill letters while the all-important 1994 Stanley Cup Finals patch is affixed to the left shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Healy’s number “30” with “Healy” stitched directly to the jersey, arching across the top of the back in matching material. The interior shows a Gerry Cosby stamp placed above the fight strap. Serving as the backup for the entire Finals series, the jersey exhibits very little wear and remains in beautiful condition, sporting just a handful of light orange-coloured stains over the front. A MeiGray tag numbered “103109” is found attached to the collar while the jersey comes accompanied by a Rangers LOA.
