Selected to two NHL All-Star Games, Glen Murray spent parts of 6 of his 16 season NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings. Worn by the winger during the 2001-02 season, his last with the Kings, we have this Los Angeles Kings third jersey worn early-on in the season by Murray prior to his trade to the Boston Bruins. A size “58” fly tag is affixed to the collar with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Stylized with an attractive and textured Kings crown crest, the purple tie-neck garment has been accented with Murray’s “27” in two-layer tackle twill numbers on the sleeves and verso with “Los Angeles” spelt across the front band in textured twill letters. The 2002 NHL All-Star Game crest resides over the right breast, along with the memorial patch for Garnet E. 'Ace' Bailey and Mark Bavis over the left. A team patch sits on the inside hem with circled initials from equipment manager Peter Millar, and it denotes the garment as a “Set 1” example. Visible game-wear is light with a small handful of board burns on the right sleeve, a board burn on the left cuff and a stick mark on the lower back. A small part of the silver on the upper part of the back number “7” is missing. An LOA from the Kings will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
