Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022

This incredible Frank Mahovlich gamer was used by the Big M during the 1972 Canada-Russia series! Sure to be highly-coveted, this fascinating and unbelievably rare Team Canada 1972 Victoriaville special model game-used stick has “27 F Mahovlich” stamped on the shaft, which retains the original red-and-white stickers on shaft unique to the Summit Series. Mahovlich’s white tape knob is intact on this beauty, which displays really nice game use and a crack-free, smooth bare blade with tape residue where the Big M’s tape job removed. Fascinating and highly desirable Team Canada 1972 game-used stick was collected direct from the stick rack immediately after the powerhouse team of NHL greats played the last of their four games on home soil in Vancouver. This remarkable and historic Summit Series game-used hockey stick was obtained by someone associated with Team Canada 1972 after the game at Pacific Coliseum on September 8th. This is a truly rare and unique opportunity to bid on Team Canada 1972 hockey memorabilia that saw active duty during the Summit Series.
