Paramount to the Montreal Canadiens’ organization for over three decades as trainer and equipment manager, Eddie Palchak served on 10 Stanley Cup championship squads with the Habs – more than any other trainer in history, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society wing. We offer an Eddie Palchak 1975-76 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Championship 10K gold salesman's sample ring. Size 11 ½ with an approx weight of 31 grams, a large zirconia sits mounted over a blue rectangular stone, encompassed by “Club de Hockey” and “Canadiens” above and below in slanted letters to the outer bezel respectively, with “NHL” and “Champions” within the bezel. “19” and “76” also appear in raised and angled numerals. “Palchak”, a full colour Habs enamel logo and crossed hockey sticks appear over the right shank, with an embossed Stanley Cup set over an NHL shield logo with “Stanley Cup” below on the left shank. The inner band is stamped "Balfour 10K”, with the sample number of “SA 1372” engraved. Resized at some point, with the joint visible, the ring exhibits heavier wear from use including numerous scratches over the inner and outer bands, with a few small dings present along edges of the band and shanks.
