Losing just a single game to the Miami Dolphins, with the best-ranked defense in the game, the Chicago Bears concluded the 1985 NFL season with a decisive victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX. This framed photo of coach Mike Ditka “flipping the bird” has been signed by 30 members of the world champion 1985 Bears. Representing the mid-western constitution of Chicagoans well with his no-nonsense demeanor and finger-extended gesture, the 16” x 20” image has been signed by 30 Bears in matching blue marker including Ditka, along with Jim McMahon, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, Dan Hampton, Steve McMichael, Gary Fencik, Jay Hilgenberg, Willie Gault, Wilber Marshall, Jim Covert, Mark Bortz, Keith Van Horne, Steve Fuller, Mike Tomczak, Kevin Butler, Otis Wilson, Mike Richardson, Shaun Gayle, Dennis McKinnon, Emery Moorehead, Denis Gentry, Kurt Becker, Reggie Phillips, Jim Morrissey, Maury Buford, Tom Andrews, Tim Wrightman, Calvin Thomas and Mike Hartenstine. Mounted in a shadow box style frame to full dimensions of approx 23” x 26 ½”, a hologram has been affixed, with a photo sheet affixed to the reverse listing the signers.
