Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Finishing in second during the regular season behind Terry Sawchuk and the Detroit Red Wings, the Montreal Canadiens would register 28 wins in 1952-53, with the season noteworthy for Rocket Richard scoring his 325th career goal and Elmer Lach netting his 200th. The Habs would slip past Chicago in seven before defeating the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals. This 20 ½” x 50” vinyl banner, a smaller version of the style that hangs from the rafters of the Bell Centre, proclaims the Cup win and is signed in clear blue sharpie by legendary HOF stars Butch Bouchard, Elmer Lach and Dickie Moore. The signatures have been placed near the base, with each displaying beautifully with no issues, with just light wear to the banner itself. The absolute perfect display piece for Habs fans, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany, along with a small wooden rod to insert into the top of the banner to facilitate hanging.
