This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Founded as an athletic club in 1903, the Toronto Marlboros competed in the Ontario Hockey Association and Ontario Hockey League from 1904 to 1989, capturing seven Memorial Cup championships throughout their existence. From their second Memorial Cup title in 1954-55, we have a stick team-signed by the Toronto Marlboros including deceased HOFers Turk Broda and Bob Pulford. A Twin Star National model featuring a Durabonded blade, approx 21 have signed the paddle and shaft in blue ballpoint, including Broda and Pulford, along with Bobby Baun, Johnny Albani, Gary Collins, Ross Sneddon, Gary Aldcorn, Ken Girard, Gord Onotsky, Jake Smola and others. The majority of the signatures are heavily faded, with the Broda and Pulford both light but legible. The stick itself exhibits some storage and age wear.
