Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
A gifted play-maker assisting on over 300 NHL goals throughout his career, J.C. Tremblay would be selected to play in seven NHL All-Star Games, with five Stanley Cup championships won with the Montreal Canadiens. From late in his NHL career before transitioning to the WHA, we have a stick used by the Bagotville native during the late-1960s. A Victoriaville Pro model with “J.C. Tremblay” and “3” stamped over the upper shaft, the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle (with black on the knob) remains intact, with each of the original striping accents now gone. Light game-use is exhibited on the vintage lumber, with wear to the underside of the blade and a few minor marks to the shaft.
