His seventh and penultimate appearance at the NHL All-Star Game, Luc Robitaille would represent the North America All-Stars at the 1999 best-on-best showcase, and would contribute a pair of points including the third goal scored in the contest. This North America All-Stars jersey was worn by the superstar at the 1999 NHL All-Star Game. A CCM label and “56” size tag are affixed to the collar, with CCM, NHL and NHLPA crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a partially-embroidered NHL shield crest in black and silver, the garment has been accented with oversized triple-twill numbers, along with a Canadian flag over the right breast. The right shoulder features the ’99 All-Star Game patch, while the left sports a Kings’ team crest. An NHL inventory number of “HIL031” has been sewn directly onto the fight strap, with a signed LOA from Luc Robitaille to accompany this attractive All-Star garment.
Worn for just a single contest, the jersey exhibits very light wear, with a faint stain near the right sleeve’s number.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
