Lending his goal scoring abilities to an always strong Team Canada, Luc Robitaille would don the iconic maple leaf at the World Championships and World Cup after first starring on the 1986 World Junior squad. This 1985-86 Team Canada World Junior Championships tray was presented to the superstar. At approx 12” in diameter and featuring a richly decorated floral pattern, engraved French-language text within the center lists the particulars including “Luc Robitaille”, “Equipe Junior Canada” and “1986”. There are also additional stamps over the reverse including “0104”, “Primrose Plate” and “E.P. BRASS” (electro-plated on brass). There is an even layer of tarnish throughout, with no damage or obtrusive marks to note. An LOA signed by Luc Robitaille will accompany.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
