Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Consisting of just 6 points scored over a total of 8 games, Wayne Gretzky’s time in Indianapolis was extremely short but important, as the quick stint serves as the genesis of The Great One’s professional career. This Racers jersey was signed by the game’s all-time greatest, and it carries the desirable limited-edition number of “99/150”. A vintage style sweater with no labeling and tackle twill crest and numbers with “Gretzky” across the nameplate, Wayne has signed within the team crest in black marker, with the aforementioned limited-edition number of “99/150” placed over the bottom left of the crest. With no issues for the signature or jersey, a hologram from UDA numbered “BAF51955” has been placed over the bottom right of the crest, with a matching COA to accompany along with the original UDA box.
